ProDOG's Vision
ProDOG Trainers of Oregon was founded with one primary vision. The vision was to offer highly trained and highly socialized working protection dogs to a responsible element of the public. Our goal was to develop a training plan that gave dogs and handlers in the private sector the ability to have dogs which were trained to police dog standards and beyond, for applications from executive bodyguards to family home companion/protection dogs.Recently, ProDOG has entered into an exciting new area of training for people with disabilities. Today, we pride ourselves in producing stable protection dogs which function well within a family environment as well as in a service dog environment. These are very specialized dogs, with very specific jobs.
ProDOG is not known to be the cheapest alternative for K9 training. But we are known for doing the training necessary to get the job done. If you have a small breed domestic house pet that you would like to train to sit and roll over on command, ProDOG is probably not for you. If you are looking for a serious working dog that will protect both you and your family, without hesitation, but will remain aloof and stable towards strangers when no threat is apparent, ProDOG is your best training resource available to meet the needs of this changing world.
